Macarons – Acrylic on acrylic paper

Oh, how I loved painting this! It’s right up my street. The only downside was that I was copying someone else’s photo, not mine. (Which obviously means they got to eat them, and I firmly condone eating your subject matter providing it’s food of course, and not famous landmarks, or shoes. Etcetera. Anyway…)

This was an excellent challenge posted on Instagram which I could not refuse seeing as sweet stuff is probably my favourite subject to paint and it’s been ages since I painted something like this. (Obviously not since I ate something like this though. That would be awful.)
